Saudi Arabia’s Dar Al Arkan Signs Deal With Trump Brand for $4 Billion Project in Oman

Saudi Arabian real estate developer Dar Al Arkan announced that it had reached an agreement with former U.S. President Donald Trump’s company to use the Trump Brand for a project that it plans to launch in Oman.

The $4 billion project is a joint venture with Oman Tourism Development Company and will involve the construction of a golf course, hotel, and villas in the Gulf state.

Named the Aida project, this venture is expected to take over a decade to complete. It is mostly centered on the development of Trump residential villas, hotels, and a golf course located in the vicinity of the capital city of Muscat.

Currently, the Trump Organization owns two golf properties in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, in partnership with property developer Damac. President Trump has a history of strong ties with Gulf nations, with Saudi Arabia investing $2 billion with a firm of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and former aide.
